Ohh this is a fun topic! Since The Life After trilogy is about a strong female, I wanted to base this post on other strong females that I admire in YA fiction that would be a great addition to Maggie’s team against the Shadowed.
First up is Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games series. She’s a talented archer and assimilates well to her surroundings. She would be a perfect addition to the team with her quick reflexes and her independent spirit.
Next up is Hermoine Granger from the Harry Potter series. Her extreme intelligence would be helpful to missions that the Guard would be given for the greater good of humanity. Her kind heart yet stubborn nature would be instrumental in the most important of missions. And a magic wand wouldn’t hurt!
Another part of the team would be Chloe Saunders from the Darkest Power series. It helps that she is a necromancer so we’d be able to control the dangerous souls that we come across. She might look innocent but her special gift would be a great asset to the Guard.
